You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.

Domestic Violence 101
Domestic violence is a pattern of assaultive and coercive behaviors used by an individual with the willful intent of hurting, dominating, and controlling an intimate partner or family member. Domestic violence is about power and control. This workshop will help you gain awareness about the nature and prevalence of domestic violence in our society, understand how victims of domestic violence are impacted, the importance of having a safety plan, specific ways to respond to victims of domestic violence and more.

Domestic Violence in the Workplace
Nationwide, employers estimate that domestic violence costs them between three and five billion dollars each year in health care claims, plus another one hundred million dollars in absenteeism, high turnover and lost productivity. Having an employer who is educated and accommodating to workers who experience violence or abuse can provide options for safety and independence like no other community service can. Workplace domestic violence policies makes good business and legal sense for your employees and for organizations in your community who will learn from your example.

Your Ruby's Worth  (accompanied with book)
From the trials and obstacles in life that Jodine has encountered, she realized that it was from her lack of self worth and self love. Now she is giving back to other women to help them learn and identify their "Ruby's Worth" based off her first book from scripture "Who can find a Virtuous woman, for her worth is far above rubies" (Prov. 31:10).

Jodine shares her personal journey as she discovered her Ruby's Worth enduring time, heat, and pressure passing the tests of difficult time forming her into one of God's precious rubies. God has allowed the pressures of her painful past to bring to the surface the best of who she is.

The objective of this workshop is to teach and empower others not to allow their setbacks to become their identity in helping them to break through the obstacles of their fears discovering their uniqueness and locating the true person they were created to be; helping women of all walks of life to break through the inner obstacles they face personally, professionally and spiritually in identifying their worth.

Teen Dating Violence - Youth or Adults
They will discover myths and facts about dating violence, examine expectations of being a girlfriend or boyfriend, identify some early warning signs of dating violence and explore the elements of prevention strategies. Participants will also examine the Dating Bill of Rights and Responsibilities, and consider how conflict management skills can help achieve their rights and fulfill their responsibilities. Finally, participants will analyze a dating violence situation and suggest ways to deal with it.

The Fatherless Syndrome - From a Daughters Point of View (testimony/impact)
Growing up fatherless, Jodine understands the impact it can have on a child whose desire is to have a relationship with their father, only to receive the feelings of rejection and abandonment. As a result of her father being absent during the most critical years of her life, she didn’t fully understand her self-worth and entered into one too many toxic relationships looking for validation. When a woman is left fatherless, something is lost in translation as she develops and grows. Many trials that she has encountered with domestic violence, rape and self identity would have been prevented if her father was a part of her life.

* This session has been shared as Jodine's personal testimony or as a panel speaker at events and conferences pertaining to Fatherhood.
